I would recommend Barrie Downie a thousand times over to anyone who needed a photographer. If you're looking for a wedding photographer, spend the extra money and hire a professional. As well as getting excellent photos of the ceremony, several group shots, and some great modelled photos of my new wife and I around our venue, he also got so many photos of our friends and family chatting which really captured the feel of the day. At the wedding his attention to detail was uncomperable. As I got dressed he took a few modelled shots which made it look like I actually knew how to put on a suit. Even though the flat was small and dark the photos he took here were excellent. He knew all the best angles for photographs as soon as he arrived. From the moment he arrived he made everyone feel comfortable. He is incredibly knowledgeable on lighting and also very passionate. From the moment I spoke to him on the phone to interview him I knew he was the right man for the job. Thanks Barrie! Lots of love,īarrie Downie is a GENIUS. I’m so happy we found him - we not only took home some amazing memories and visuals, but we left with a wonderful friendship that makes the experience all the better. If you are looking for professionalism, exceptional photos, and to wow everyone with your final product, Barrie is your guy. Barrie is SO talented and has such an eye for detail - his work is truly magnificent. To say we were blown away by the quality of work and the overall experience is an absolute understatement. All those worries were unnecessary because Barrie directed us brilliantly into a series of poses that looked natural and yielded some incredible photographs. As my fiancé and I have never been professionally photographed, we were both nervous about what to expect and how we would look. This photo-realistic Katana is a project Ive been working on inspired by a lot of other 3D artists as well as Japanese styles experimenting with different. He’s so easy going and friendly that it’s impossible not to like him. From the first second we met him at the airport, we felt absolutely comfortable with him.
